For use when turbocharging the 2.4L LE5 Motor.
This 2-BAR MAP Sensor is required when turbocharging your 2.4L LE5 and other similar Ecotec engines. The factory 1-BAR sensor is not capable of reading positive manifold pressure (Boost Pressure), whereas this one is capable of reading up to 1 BAR of positive pressure, or approximately 14.5psi of boost. If you plan to boost your Ecotec above 14.5 psi, you will need a higher BAR MAP sensor such as the 2.5 BAR or 3 BAR, though this sensor is ideal for most turbo applications using stock internals found on most Ecotecs.
